Talbot Hall

Talbot Hall, situated at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, offers a comprehensive menu of addiction treatment services to adults aged 18 and older. The center specializes in substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions and provides a variety of structured programs to accommodate the individual needs of those at various stages of their recovery. 

A program that permits individuals to reside at the facility for a maximum of 30 days is one of the facility's primary offerings: residential treatment. During this period, they are provided with intensive care in a structured, supportive environment that is intended to assist them in stabilizing and initiating their recovery process. The residential care section at the center is equipped with 15 beds, guaranteeing that the patient receives the necessary attention and care during their stay. A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is available at Talbot Hall for individuals who have successfully concluded inpatient treatment but require ongoing support. This program is a cost-effective and effective alternative to overnight accommodations, as it provides structured therapy during the day and allows patients to return home at night. PHP is a critical transition phase for individuals who require a high level of care prior to reintegrating into daily life. 

Talbot Hall provides a Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for patients who desire a more adaptable approach. This program involves scheduling therapy sessions on a multiple-day basis, with the sessions typically spanning six weeks. The IOP offers patients the flexibility to reconcile their personal and professional responsibilities by offering morning and evening options, which aid in the reconciliation of family, work, and recovery. This program offers patients the opportunity to participate in a total of 18 sessions, which will enable them to access comprehensive care as they progressively return to their daily routines. 

Furthermore, Talbot Hall provides outpatient psychotherapy, which encompasses family therapy, group therapy, and individual therapy. These outpatient services are intended for patients who have successfully concluded more intensive treatment but require ongoing therapeutic support to sustain their recovery. The therapy is intended to address the emotional and behavioral aspects of addiction, thereby assisting patients in developing resilience and managing daily obstacles. 

Group therapy, family therapy, relapse prevention, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) comprise the center's therapeutic offerings. These therapies are enhanced by specialized services, such as those that are specifically designed for expectant individuals who are struggling with substance use disorders. Additionally, Talbot Hall incorporates telehealth services to ensure that treatment is accessible throughout the various stages of recuperation, thereby providing flexibility for patients who are unable to attend clinics in person.
